GVA Aurora Community Meeting with the Charter School Institute

After 18 years of partnership with Aurora Public Schools, we have applied to transition to the Colorado Charter School Institute (CSI), the state’s charter authorizer, beginning in the 2025-26 school year.

Once approved, this transition will provide GVA Aurora with greater flexibility and resources to enhance our language immersion programs, recruit specialized educators, expand hands-on learning opportunities, and further strengthen our commitment to academic excellence and global education.

This is an exciting time for GVA Aurora, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth and positive transition. We know you may have questions, and we invite you to join us for a Community Meeting on March 18 at 5:00 PM at the West Campus. Representatives from the GVA Aurora leadership team, the Aurora Board, GVAC, and CSI will be there to provide more information and answer your questions.
